Two hands on the piano

Private Piano Instruction

Children must receive music instruction as naturally as food, with as much pleasure as they derive from a ball game, and this must happen from the beginning of their lives.” Leonard Bernstein

Being involved with music is a wonderful opportunity for a youngster and there is no better place than the piano for the adventure to begin.

Tricia Marton, an accomplished teacher, holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance and is a church musician, adjudicator, educator, and active citizen in the music life of Sheboygan. She has taught private piano for 10 years and her students have been award winning through local competitions.

Mrs. Marton offers individualized instruction with programs that delve into music theory, improvisation, music analysis, classical repertoire plus other genres of music. She guides students who are just starting their musical journey—from youngsters to the young at heart—as well as advanced students who may be looking for a college music program.

Dedicated to developing the whole musician, lessons involve an active learning environment, where your student is challenged to explore music with their entire self.
